“ the moment the idea is admitted into society, that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and
that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence”
On Jan. 14, several tea party groups held a symposium
for Agenda 21. Agenda 21 is an insidious program from the U.N. under the label of saving the Earth from man to install a one-world
government, doing away with private property rights and reducing the population of the Earth. Read full story...
Last February I wrote about how one brave county was taking the lead in fighting
Agenda 21 – the United Nations “Agenda for the 21st Century.” The government of Carroll County, Maryland,
was the first governmental organization to revoke membership in ICLEI, the U.N. sponsored organization created to insinuate
Agenda 21 “Sustainable Development” concepts (also known as “Smart Growth,” “Walkable Communities”
and a host of other positive-sounding misnomers) into local government planning and zoning ordinances. ICLEI is the acronym
for the International Council on Local Environmental Initiatives – Local Governments for Sustainability.
The County also abolished their “Office of Sustainability” and
the commissioners undertook the arduous task of expunging the many references to “Sustainable Development” that
were embedded, like metastasized cancer cells, throughout the County master plan. Read full story...
The protesters clearly feel there is a form of Moses-style
planning going on today, but rather than highways, it’s high-speed rail and transit, and compact, mixed-use, dense development,
all of which are designed to bring about long-term sustainability. As one Florida Tea Party activist put it, "compact
development aka smart growth, aka New Urbanism, aka Traditional Neighborhood Design, aka Transit Oriented Development, aka
Livable Communities, aka Sustainable Development ... are all names meaning the same thing: they are anti-suburban, high-density
dwelling design concepts that are part of the UN's Agenda 21 and will make single family home ownership for our posterity
unattainable." Another summed it up this way: “We don’t want none of your smart growth communism." Full story...
JBS CEO Arthur R. Thompson introduces the Stop Agenda 21 action project and shows how the UN’s Local Agenda 21 program may already be in your local community, through your home town or city’s
membership in ICLEI – Local Governments for Sustainability. Agenda 21 seeks for the government to curtail your freedom
to travel as you please, own a gas-powered car, live in suburbs or rural areas, and raise a family. Furthermore, it would
eliminate your private property rights through eminent domain. Agenda 21 can be stopped at the local level by organizing and
informing others to encourage local government officials to end their community’s membership in ICLEI and to repeal
any of the Agenda 21-related "sustainable development" laws and ordinances they have enacted.
AGENDA 21 ALLOWING THE UNITED NATIONS
TO SLOWLY TAKE CONTROL OVER AMERICAN LAND 11-26-2011 9:49 am - Alan Keyes - Americans United for Freedom
Are you aware that the US Government has been
slowly and incrementally allowing the United Nations to take some control over American treasures like Thomas Jefferson's
Monticello Estate, the Grand Canyon and even the Statue of Liberty, under the United Nation's Agenda 21 program?
As of November 2011, 68 percent of all U.S. national parks, monuments and preserves have now been designated as "World
Heritage Sites" by the United Nations which in effect, has given the corrupt, unelected bureaucrats at the United Nations
some measure of control over them and where the will of the United Nations trumps U.S. law.
The tyranny of the
UN globalists does not end at the borders of the "World Heritage Sites." Apparently, the United Nations is also
allowed to dictate what happens even on Americans' private property.
For example, the Crown Butte Mines once owned
property 3 miles from the boundaries of Yellowstone National Park. For years the company had worked successfully with the
U.S. Forest Service to ensure that mining would have no impact on Yellowstone National Park and that the project would be
environmentally responsible. Crown Butte even won awards for its outstanding stewardship. Yet none of this mattered to the
Green Police at the UN, who literally forced Crown Butte Mines to stop developing their own property simply because the United
Nations felt it might be a threat to their "World Heritage Site" three miles away.
The UN action not
only violated Crown Butte's U.S. Constitution-protected private property rights, the action also violated U.S. Federal law
that prohibits World Heritage Sites from absorbing private property without the owner's explicit consent. Yet, our government
has let this unlawful, unconstitutional expropriation and violation of U.S. sovereignty happen – with its blessing and
collusion.
World Heritage Sites are just a small part of the United Nations' plan to destroy American liberty and
sovereignty. The UN is pushing hard to implement Agenda 21 and take full control of the rest of America. We must stop this
globalist march if we intend to remain a free and sovereign people. Take a stand NOW before the UN comes for YOUR land!
TELL CONGRESS TO REJECT AGENDA 21! STOP THE UN NOW!
Keep Faith,
Alan Keyes www.DeclarationAlliance.org
Agenda 21 is a comprehensive plan of action to be taken globally, nationally
and locally by organizations of the United Nations System, Governments, and Major Groups in every area in which human impacts
on the environment.
The
Commission on Sustainable Development (CSD) was created in December 1992 to ensure effective follow-up of UNCED, to monitor
and report on implementation of the agreements at the local, national, regional and international levels. It was agreed that
a five year review of Earth Summit progress would be made in 1997 by the United Nations General Assembly meeting in special session.
The full implementation of Agenda 21, the Programme for Further Implementation
of Agenda 21 and the Commitments to the Rio principles, were strongly reaffirmed at the World Summit on Sustainable Development
(WSSD) held in Johannesburg, South Africa from 26 August to 4 September 2002.
Re: Agenda 21 (9/8/11)
Dear Mr. Adams,
Thank you for contacting me to express your concern about U.S. participation in the United Nations and Agenda 21.
I appreciate hearing from you.
Over the past 50 years, the U.N. has proved useful
to the U.S. in accomplishing many of its foreign policy goals. Recently, however, the relationship between the United States
and the U.N. has been a point of concern for many Americans. Undefined missions, overstretched resources, wasteful spending,
and other problems illustrate the need for reform. I believe the U.S. must hold the U.N. accountable to its original vision
and demand long-overdue reforms.
You can be sure that I will continue to monitor the U.N. closely. If the U.N.
no longer serves U.S. foreign policy objectives, I will strongly consider legislation to end U.S. participation. I will also
continue to oppose efforts to challenge the sovereignty of our great Nation.
Thank
you again for sharing your views with me. Please feel free to contact me in the future about anything important to you or
your family. It is an honor to serve you and the people of South Carolina.
Sincerely,
Jim DeMint United States Senator
The Universal Declaration on Cultural Diversity
(UNESCO) states that "...cultural diversity is as necessary for humankind and is the fourth policy area of sustainable
development."
The Network of Excellence "Sustainable Development in
a Diverse World", sponsored by the European Union, integrates multidisciplinary capacities and interprets cultural diversity
as a key element of a new strategy for sustainable development.
Most Americans are unaware that one of the greatest threats to their freedom
may be a UnitedNations program known as Agenda 21. The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs,
Division for Sustainable Development created Agenda 21 as a sustainability agenda which is arguably an amalgamation of socialism
and extreme environmentalism brushed with anti-American, anti-capitalist overtones.
